FRANCOIS LATOUR DID NOT LIVE TO TELL THIS TIME.

Francois Latour car was stolen at gun point in Haiti on tuesday,Otober 26th 1999 in Delmas 31,after returning from a visit abroad. He was lucky and lived to tell and laugh about the incident. On may 23th,2007 ,eight years later, his body found,inert,dead not too far from the previous attack,victims of a fatal kidnapping.

Alex Hansen is a nomadic correspondent on an assignment in civil-war-ravaged El Salvador. Victim of an identity crisis, he takes stock of his life in which he has lost all illusions. He cannot sleep and is suffering from writer's block and decides to go to Haiti, where he bumps into a Danish woman he falls in love with. She disappears, and instead of obtaining an interview with Baby Doc, Alex searches for her haphazardly while he goes more and more to the dogs. Meanwhile in Denmark, the editor is losing patience.

Alex Hansen est un grand reporter, envoyé spécial au Salvador où la guerre civile fait rage. En proie à une crise d'identité, il fait le bilan d'une vie sans illusion. Souffrant d'insomnie et du syndrome de la page blanche, il décide de partir à Haïti où il rencontre une Danoise dont il tombe amoureux. Elle disparaît. Au lieu d'obtenir l'interview de Baby Doc qu'il est venu chercher, Alex erre au hasard des rues en quête de la femme. Pendant ce temps, au Danemark, son éditeur perd patience.
