New Generation of Haitians

Edna Laroche, a former journalist is troubled by the perception of Haitians as" boat people" . She will be profiling succesful Haitian Americans on a new cable show. The show is debuting on The Broward Education Communication Network, or Becon in June 13th and run three times a week. "They need to know there are doctors, lawyers, teachers, entertainers", "we are out there". She is looking for sponsors.
