Fallen publisher , a sad ending.
Al Goldstein at 68, is broke and homeless. His company , Milky Way Productions, home of screw magazine, and the long running cable show, the Midnight Blue went into bankruptcy last year. His mansion in Pompano Beach was sold in June , to pay his debts. He said he spent much of last month sleeping in a borrowed car behind a Boston Market restaurant in Pompano Beach. " I walked past the townhouse I used to live in on on West 61st Street and I kept thinking, that is who I was. I was somebody with a chauffeur, a limo a townhouse, now I sleep on a floor", " I feel doomed as a jew, I'll try anything else."
