The National humane society demanded Congress to hold hearings on charges that poultry workers tortured birds before killing them. Pilgrim's Pride , a supplier for KFC fired 11 workers after People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals released video of workers kicking, stomping and throwing birds againgst walls.
