Haïti a aussi son festival international de jazz !

Depuis 2007, Port-au-Prince, la capitale haïtienne offre a un public toujours plus nombreux, un festival international de jazz annuel. Située dans les grandes Antilles, Haïti bénéficie en janvier, époque du festival, d'un climat des plus clément.

Accompagné par le Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, le Ministère du Tourisme, neuf à 10 ambassades, des institutions majeures privées et publiques du pays, le Festival International de Jazz de Port-au-Prince, événement à but non lucratif, est un rendez-vous culturel incontournable qu'Haïti offre chaque année à un public local et international.

Des musiciens de partout sur la planète participent chaque année à cette fête du jazz. Ils viennent des Etats-Unis, de la France, du Brésil, du Mexique, du Chili, de l'Allemagne, de l'Espagne, de la Suisse, du Canada, de la République Dominicaine et bien sûr d'Haïti et de sa diaspora.
